Lake View is a thriving community North of Lincoln Park bordered between Irving Park Road and Diversy Parkway, spanning west of Ashland Avenue to Lake Michigan. Lake View is broken up into various smaller neighborhoods. Lake View overlooks Belmont Harbor and the Chicago lakefront. This gives Lake View easy access to the Lake and the many parks in the area. Transportation to and from downtown is an easy hop on the "El", or a short commute by way of Lake Shore Drive.

Chicago - Lake View

Lake View East, incorporates all the lake front property east of Clark Street. Along the shore lies Belmont Harbor, one of Chicago Yacht Club's locations, the other being the Monroe Street Station. Lake View East is home to a large commercial district involving over 300 retail stores within walking distance from the lakefront. Large apartment and condominium complexes are home to many Chicagoans with easy access to downtown Chicago and the Kennedy Expressway.

West Lake View contains many more houses and is currently going through a very similar rehabilitation boom that Lincoln Park went through during the 1990s. Some of the greatest Chicago real estate deals can be found in this area, but prices are rising as quickly as Sammy Sosa's RBI count.

Wrigleyville is another neighborhood contained within the Lake View boundaries. Surrounding Wrigley Field, and contained by Southport, Halsted, Roscoe and Byron is the "home" of the Chicago Cubs. During the baseball season, this quaint neighborhood turns into one of the most dynamic scenes around.
