Off Navy Pier, one can view a world class fireworks show twice a week during the summer, eat food at the many fine restaurants, listen to live music at the skyline stage, attend a Shakespeare play in theater designed after the traditional Shakespearian theaters, or just take a walk. Access to Navy Pier is free, and there are plenty of buses and cabs shuttling people in and out. Navy Pier is the Near North Side’s number one attraction.
